FTLO Ice

So FTLO has rolled around again and this time the theme is Ice. As with FTLO Fall, there are exclusive themed goodies available to buy and there is also a mini hunt on the sim, this time you are looking for snowflakes. Be careful though cus there are some snowflakes and parts of the sim that are available to buy, so check before you buy them that they are the hunt gifts and are L$0. There are some really nice things available in the hunt, and also alot of the stores are offering limited exclusive items that will only be sold at the fair.

One of said exclusives is a beautiful winter outfit from [pom.pon]. It comes with ear muffs and flats (not shown).




The boots I'm wearing here is the exclusive item available from epic. I absolutely love these boots, they look all snuggly and warm, and come with a cute snow-particle effect.

Next up is this amazing Ice Queen gown from *epic*, which matches perfectly with their hunt giftie of Ice Queen make-up and eyes.








Liqsums' hunt item is a set of cute seasonal panties. Worn here with Liqsum's exclusive FTLO Ice Fest tattoo.





Next is a cute combination which I'd like to show you. The gorgeous garland boots are the hunt giftie from Sassy Kitty Designs; worn with the hunt giftie of leggings and top from Grixdale (formerly Tyranny Designs); hair by Rezipsa Loc (includes colour-change hat); and finally cute antlers which are the hunt giftie from Relentless Couture.





Skin worn in all pics is from Kis Kis (I'm sorry I'm not sure if its the hunt item or an ice fest exclusive item).

Snowpaw Fashions has released a new dress for this week's Monday Mania. This dress features an embroidered bodice and flowy skirt. It also has two skirt options, long and short. It looks great with this new hair from AMG Boudoir, Cindyy. I am also wearing a new skin from Exodi, called Dael and a new jewelry set from Zuri's Jewelry. Not only is the set on sale, it is a complete set (necklace, earrings, bracelet, and armbands) & the color of the metal can be changed to match anything! Models to Watch

Top designers and agencies of the fashion industry relied on a small circle of top models who were on a one-name basis with fashion and people all over the grid. Today, in a time where everyone is looking for the next big thing, models go in and out of style as often as the fashion trends themselves.

In addition in featuring all the newest designs from the great designers, I’ll also be keeping my eyes peeled for the hottest new models.

Store Model and Special Events Coordinator - I have spent 2+ years working as a store model for Prism where I show case the designs of Journey McLaglen. Along with stand posing I also work store events, greet and assist customers. Recently been promoted to special events manager where I assist Journey with any kind of special promotions such as the RFL Charity Hunt and sim wide hunts.

Meeting new people, making friends and wearing some of the finest clothing SL has to offer is what I enjoy about modeling. As for the modeling activities I enjoy them all: the photo work, runway and poseing. My modeling style can be best described as classy-refined in an exotic package. I often feel that less is more regarding accessories so that the focus remains on the clothing I am modeling for the client. Often times I will create the accessories to compliment an outfit giving the look a one-of-a-kind custom edge.

Finesmith Jewelry Design by Yula Finesmith will try to challenge all the models out there to put your styling abilities to the test!

Are you up for the challenge?
“Finesmith Style about….” a challenging styling contest held every week at FRIDAY mornings 9amslt. The contest will run for 10 weeks and every week there’s one unique theme that will test your creative stylings! Research the fashion and art styles using exclusively the Jewelries from Finesmith Jewelry. Create that one breathtaking look that will take you to the finals. Interpret the theme into your own vision and let us see it on the runway.

How to be a part of the FINESMITH STYLE ABOUT..

1. Join the Finesmith group and be one of the followers of the blog and be updated for the latest release/new collections.

2.  During stylings, wear atleast one item from  Finesmith Jewelry. the rest of the styling to your choice(you may wear other designers jewelry as well, we support our fellow designers- its all about style) .

3. The Finesmith Jewelry style about… will be juried by designers, agency owners, photographers and more. Its a good exposure to all aspiring models to shine on the runway.

4.  Every week there will be a theme.  Before 9amslt, Friday of every week, research the subject and style the perfect outfit.

October 8: 1st week- steampunk – Winner Scarlett Loxingly
October 15: 2nd week- Kitsch – Winner BlackLiquid Tokyoska
October 22:  3rd week- Manierism – Winner Xenobia Foxclaw
October 29: 4th week- Surialism - Winner Leah Portland

5. In a NC write your styling description and what inspired you to create that syle. Put in your modeling resume and rename the card (Example: Finesmith style about…- Yula Finesmith)Send your NCs to YULA FINESMITH until 6AM every friday. No NC no chance to show your stylings on the runway.

6. Contest will start OCTOBER 8 at 9am slt

7. ** The winner of the WEEKLY STYLINGS will have a chance to move on the finals
